For over 40 years, we have shared our own family recipes, created from our Texas country roots. Using the highest quality ingredients, we only serve the food our family loves…and we love mashed potatoes, chicken-fried steak, catfish, green beans, yeast rolls, black-eyed peas, grilled chicken tenders, and lots and lots of fried chicken, among several other vegetables and menu choices.
Since 1981 we have proudly served as many as four generations of folks within the same family. We love the relationships that our food and service has created between us and all of our guests. Whether you are a first-timer or a valued regular, we absolutely appreciate you and want to do our best on your behalf every day. We love to “Cook Country”…come join us!
Great news! After 40+ years of serving the Park Cities community, we have opened a second location. Now Frisco residents can easily enjoy our same brand of country cooking. Just like the Dallas location, we serve breakfast, lunch, and a winner, winner of a chicken dinner, plus our other entrees with vegetable sides, mashed potatoes, gravy, and possibly best of all, OUR YEAST ROLLS! So try us for yourself Frisco, either by dine- in, drive-thru, or curb-side. Our Frisco location is 4585 Preston Road, just a few blocks north of Stonebriar Centre and the Sam Rayburn 121 tollway.
